If you take it for what it is you can have a ton of fun, just don't expect a GTA killer. Taking down towers from 3 blocks away and generally feeling like an evil badass. I found myself using completely different powers, flying from rooftop to rooftop, taking more strategic approaches, launching missiles springing from rooftop vents. I enjoyed how on my second playthrough smoke was so much more fun to play. Its more challenging and the karmic differences become apparent. My first good playthrough on normal was fun, smooth. Why then am I giving this game an 8 if its this bad then? Because in spite of itself it is a blast to play. The city seems a bit lifeless compared to say, a GTA V caliber of game, some missions hamstring you to a particular strategy, some missions will annoyingly force your character to walk or stand in place, the side missions can get monotonous. #INFAMOUS FIRST LIGHT VOICE ACTORS SERIES#
It's better than Infamous 2 but still no infamous 1 (Although the game play is the best the series has offered.) I will not stoop to giving it a 10 just to fight off the trolls scoring the game low. I'm giving this a 9 because I feel that it deserves in between a 8/9 as a fan. The graphics are great, performance is good. So to recap: If you were a fan, you will like it! So that's great news for people like me. Which, in all honesty isn't too bad seeing as in my opinion, neither was New Marais and again, in my opinion Sucker Punches Seattle is gorgeous and better than New Marais was. I have to say that the only down side is that the city, being based off of a real city, just is not as good as Empire City. Deslin is far more likable than I thought he would be and the story is quite good too. The powers offer a nice change up to the game play and makes the experience fresh and precise. As other reviews have said, if you liked the others, you will most likely like this one. On the other hand I knew that a lot of people didn't like the first three games and that there would be trolls knocking it as people do exclusives these days.
On the other hand I knew that a lot of people didn't like the first three games After seeing some mixed reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. They fixed the stupid free-look camera from Vice City and made San Andreas a true third-person adventure, but they still dumped in this pretzel-fingered pain-in-the-ass obligation. After seeing some mixed reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. Rockstar Games had a stretch last decade where it simply couldn't release something without some gratuitous unnecessary control variation plopped in. Then I figured out I should just get in the damn garbage truck and drive Vic to the hospital in that.) But at least that mission didn't feature Cross' grating voice barking orders. Supply Lines was harder than Death Row, a core story mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City that caused me to rage to the point my landlady called the police on me. This six-year-old walkthrough video still gets raging comments from players who either can't beat it or still resent what it took to beat it. The player had to track down a series of couriers and eliminate them and the dirt bike rider was the absolute worst. The controls were basically backward to a standard vehicle's, with the throttle on a stick and turning on buttons. The mission was made difficult by the impossible nature of the touchy RC controls, particularly for twin-analog users. to gun down the fleet of Zero's nerd-rival, Berkley (who is never seen, nor does he speak). In Supply Lines, the player controls an RC biplane that's still equipped with enough firepower to blow up delivery vans. "I stopped, I tried to cheat, I could not listen to myself, it was so annoying," Cross says. "It's the most annoying voice you could imagine, accompanying that," he says.
If you hated it, and hated Zero, well, know that Zero's voice is right there with you.ĭavid Cross, at the 10:02 mark of this interview, rips his performance and the mission's design. Anyone who attempted to 100-percent Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas a dozen years ago remembers "Supply Lines," the goddamn impossible side mission that C.J.
